Online services

Applying for a driving licence or learner permit just got a whole lot easier.

Most NDLS services are available online and can be used if you have a Public Services Card and a verified MyGovID. It's faster and simpler to use NDLS services online at NDLS.ie.

You can apply online for:

• first-time learner permit or full licence
• renewing your driving licence or learner permit
• updating personal details
• replacement of a lost/stolen or damaged licence or permit
• exchanging your foreign licence for an Irish licence

NDLS Centres

There are 34 NDLS centres nationwide where all NDLS services are available. However, you must book an appointment before attending any NDLS centre.
